With over 14 years consulting experience and 18 years in the chemical industry, Jim Kulbeda has focused on strategic change activities, business process, sales/marketing transformation, organizational restructuring, and global supply chain optimization. Prior to joining Synovum’s Board of Advisors, Jim was Partner, Chemical and Process Industries at IBM Global Business Services, and Chemical Practice Leader at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. He has also held executive positions for MainePointe, LPS Laboratories, Castrol Industrial, Velsicol, and Praxair.

Jim is a recognized thought leader, and has published a variety of analytical works, facilitated C-suite leadership events, and been a featured speaker at some of the industry's top conferences. His articles have been published in Chemical Week, Chemical Marketing Reporter and with the American Chemistry Council, among others. He has led successful transformational engagements for client companies such as Celanese, Eastman Chemical, LyondellBasell, Hercules, DuPont, BASF, Bayer, JM Huber and Synthetic Industries.
